Shaping a Better Tomorrow

The Cultural Association for Post Release Care is a leading non-profit organization in Jordan, founded in 2015 to support the reintegration of individuals affected by incarceration or traumatic experiences. It operates in collaboration with the Public Security Directorate and works closely with the Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Social Development.

The association adopts a comprehensive approach that integrates culture, art, and therapy into rehabilitation processes, promoting justice, equality, and respect for human rights. Its programs provide psychological support, vocational training, and economic empowerment, targeting former inmates, their families, and other vulnerable groups.

Supporting inmates in building skills, generating income, and creating a stable future after release

From rehabilitation to reintegration

In Jordan, prisons are called Rehabilitation and Correctional Centers, where inmates receive vocational training through specialized workshops to help them reintegrate into society after release. These programs not only equip them with valuable handcrafting skills but also improve their mental and social well-being.

Our cooperation with the Public Security Directorate ensures that inmates who have developed marketable skills can continue using them after release through our e-commerce platform, allowing them to sell their handcrafted items and generate income. This initiative plays a vital role in reducing recidivism, promoting economic independence, and supporting reintegration into society.
